Pillar 01 · Data center and technical infrastructure

Data center capability sheets

Six sheets, one for each kind of work our technicians do inside the data hall. Each shows the tasks, typical scope, how the work runs, and what you get back at closeout.

Rack and stack

Physical installation of servers, network hardware, and storage, built exactly to your rack elevation drawings.

Technical tasks

  • Rack and rail installation
  • Server, switch, and storage mounting
  • Rack unit planning against the elevation
  • Power and network patching per plan
  • Asset tagging at install

How it runs

  1. Confirm elevation, MOP, and window
  2. Stage and tag hardware
  3. Install and patch
  4. Photograph and update the elevation

Structured cabling

Copper and fiber that is routed, dressed, patched, and labeled so it can be traced in seconds.

Technical tasks

  • Copper and fiber runs between racks and rows
  • Routing in trays and managers
  • Dressing to bend-radius and slack rules
  • Labeling at both ends
  • Tracing and remediation of existing cabling

How it runs

  1. Review port map and pathways
  2. Run and dress cable
  3. Patch and label
  4. Hand back updated port map

Hardware deployment and staging

Equipment moves from receiving to verified install with every serial accounted for.

Technical tasks

  • Receiving and damage inspection
  • Unboxing, staging, and asset tagging
  • Inventory against your bill of materials
  • Installation and verification with your engineers

How it runs

  1. Receive and inspect
  2. Stage and tag
  3. Install to plan
  4. Verify and document

Smart Hands and break/fix

On-site technicians who act on instructions from your remote engineering team.

Technical tasks

  • Drive, DIMM, and power supply replacement on instruction
  • Reseats, power cycles, and visual checks
  • Cable replacement and connectivity checks
  • RMA swaps and part returns

How it runs

  1. Ticket received
  2. Technician dispatched to site
  3. Task performed on your instructions
  4. Ticket closed with notes and photos

Moves, adds, and changes

Planned changes inside live environments, performed step by step inside your approved window.

Technical tasks

  • Hardware adds and relocations
  • Rack modifications
  • Re-cabling and re-labeling
  • Data center migration support

How it runs

  1. Walk the MOP with your team
  2. Execute in the change window
  3. Re-label and re-document
  4. Confirm and close the change

Decommissioning and asset management

Equipment removed and reconciled, with the asset trail intact from rack to approved disposition.

Technical tasks

  • De-racking and cable removal
  • Serial reconciliation against your list
  • Asset tracking from rack to dock
  • Packing and transport to approved disposition

How it runs

  1. Confirm the removal list
  2. Remove and reconcile
  3. Pack and transport
  4. Hand over chain of custody

One technician or a full crew.

Crews are sized to the work. Every assignment has a named point of contact, and larger jobs add a site lead.

Smart Hands technician

Remote-directed tasks, break/fix, and small installs.

Deployment crew

Site lead plus technicians for builds, refreshes, and migrations.

Project team

Multiple crews with logistics and asset staff for larger programs.

  • Data center technicians
  • Deployment technicians
  • Cabling technicians
  • Hardware technicians
  • Asset and logistics staff
  • Site leads

Need people placed for longer assignments? See staffing services.

Environments

Enterprise data centers, colocation facilities, hyperscale and cloud sites, AI and high-density compute halls, and network rooms.

How we work on your floor

Your method of procedure, your change windows, your site badging and safety rules. Personnel meet each site's screening and access requirements. Photos only where your site allows them. No client names in our marketing without written permission.
